A Lifelong Passion

Hawaii based singer, guitarist, songwriter, producer and composer, has been recognized as a premier wedding/event entertainer since 1987. He has performed throughout Hawaii, U.S. Mainland, and Japan. Whether it be for an audience of a 1000 people or an intimate setting of 10, Jon will create the right mood for your event/wedding. A self-taught singer and guitarist, Jon discovered his life-long passion at the age of 12.

His father and grandfather, also musicians,  were his first musical influences. As a singer/songwriter, Jon was also influenced by artists like James Taylor, Kenny Loggins, Dan Fogelberg, Billy Joel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Michael Ruff, Dave Matthews, John Mayer,  and many more. Guitarist influences include artists like Earl Kulgh, Michael Hedges, Peter White and Lee Ritenour.

Jon is also involved in producing/recording other musical artists besides himself and collaborating with other artists working out of his studio in Downtown, Honolulu. He’s had extended performances at hotels such as the Halekulani Hotel, Hawai’i Prince Hotel, Hilton Hawaiian Village, J.W. Marriott Ihilani Resort, Turtle Bay Resort, and Marriott Ko’Olina Beach Club.

One of his accomplishments as a singer/songwriter was his hit single “SUDDENLY”, which was one of the first songs in Hawai’i to crossover from local radio playlists to mainstream radio. It also garnered him a “NA HOKU HANO HANO AWARD” nomination for “MOST PROMISING ARTIST”.
